U.B.U. Lounge
The U.B.U. Lounge was developed to meet the specific preferences of teenagers. It's about their optimism and finding their individuality. High school lunchrooms adopting the U.B.U. Lounge have new colors infused throughout the lunchroom, sophisticated lighting and food packaging, student lounge areas, complete with furniture, music, and huge graphic images of fellow teens. It's a place where students can be themselves.
Our 12 Spot and U.B.U. Lounge menus received the Nation’s Restaurant News 2005 MenuMasters Award for Best On-Site Concept Menu. In recognizing ARAMARK, NRN said the new brands are extremely innovative and respond to changing customer preferences. But, more importantly, our toughest customers at the secondary level are responding positively as well. Districts who have implemented the 12 Spot or U.B.U. Lounge are realizing an average increase in participation of 10-15%! That means more students are eating healthy meals on a daily basis!
